Tiny treasures like taste buds Interact with a tender command Rising pressures like rain drops Activate when they’re in our hands If we tough it out I’ll dedicate a record to your heart I worry that we’re sinking sinking Let’s hurry because time is ticking Move it along go quickly quickly Everyone else has already beaten us there Wipe the aisles of grey dust That’s built up from years of neglect Grass has gathered and gave up More times than I can recollect If we get through this I’ll dedicate a record to your heart I promise I will try my hardest We don’t want to end up back where we started If you help me aim I will hit the target Don’t let me be the only one who cares If we get through this I’ll dedicate a record to your heart

You got a little pleasure and I got a little pain You seemed under the weather I got about the same Give me time to ask the question if you will come I can’t figure which direction you're coming from One morning you came Another you were gone again Gone in a flash I could take my time but You’re gone in a flash I don’t know if that is Realistic but i don’t see how you are coming back How you are coming back How you are coming back How you are coming back Time is ticking onward I’m bending backward for you Hide underneath my pillow Where I have a moment to myself to think Gone in a flash I could take my time but You’re gone in a flash I don’t know if that is Realistic but i don’t see how you are coming back How you are coming back How you are coming back How you are coming back

Sometimes I get the feeling that You might not want me here But what’s with all the subtlety Can't you just make it clear Is it something I’ve done? Or am about to do? You said you’d give me a chance Not to disappoint you Am I a special case? Or just your daily target? Have I passed for today? Or are you just getting started? As I gaze across the valley from my vantage point I can see so much so give me a sign Give me a signal when you’ve had enough I have some mild confusion and I don’t think you’ll clue me in I sense some slight aggression but This won’t happen again There's an empty space Next to me on your shelf Should I sit next to you Or sit next to myself? I think I know what you want And I hope that I’m right But if I get it wrong I’ll stay at home tonight As I gaze across the valley from my vantage point I can see so much so give me a sign Give me a signal when you’ve had enough You tell me you find it funny I don’t see the humour there Maybe I lack perspective Though I doubt that you will care As I gaze across the valley from my vantage point I can see so much so give me a sign Give me a signal when you’ve had enough

Solo Act 02:10
I don’t want to be a solo act A group, a band, is what I lack Banging drums and strumming strings We can all sing Won't be the only one who plays guitar That sort of thing won't get me far A desire for camaraderie To like what I see Give it up your hour’s gone Which way you take the song Speed along it’s going fine Bounce ideas off my mind Come down to my home it’s time we find the answer fill it up they'll come around they'll come to town I don’t really want to play these chords My tired hands are growing bored Need a part others can play Won't do it my way I don’t want to stand on stage alone Or quietly drive myself home If you ask a question no one can hear Does it fall on deaf ears? I could listen or i’ll speak hybrid thoughts are unique Collect on the others notes Which way you want to go Realize ambition Speak aloud your moment’s coming All the cards we have on hand Add to the band I kinda want someone to help me out What should we write our songs about It’s nothing if I can’t collaborate Do it now don’t wait I don’t want to be a solo act A group, a band, is what I lack Banging drums and strumming strings We can all sing

Trial Run 02:15
I’m glad I could be an example for you An example of all the things that you shouldn’t do But if you’re trying to be an example for me I will make an example of you I led a trial run a pilot test For you to build on and be your best I see you following my footsteps Careful not to trip on my regrets Don't you dare try to step up to me I gave you my time you gave me nothing I know you're boasting down deep inside Now that you're coasting on my own pride I will take you down Turn your life around The pleasure it brings in spite of all the wounds that you and I hide in the dark I’m glad I could be an example for you An example of all the things that you shouldn’t do But if you’re trying to be an example for me I will make an example of you I shouldn't punish what i don't know Maybe you're natural maybe ill grow But my suspicions led me awry Soon as you stopped having to try I’ll give you up before i get down You’ve been on easy street in this town I’ve lived a long life yours has been short What you’ve gained in time I will distort I will take you down Turn your life around The pleasure it brings in spite of all the wounds that you and I hide in the dark I’m glad I could be an example for you An example of all the things that you shouldn’t do But if you’re trying to be an example for me I will make an example of you

Cinema Night 02:10
Wouldn’t it be nice to take a load off But you know how hard that can be Finding relief from life’s stress You don’t know where to begin Well I'll tell you a secret You can have an in When you are tired the hours growing later Just put on a movie and it may make you day greater So many choices there’s always something to please you Take a chance and see what it leads to I'm so depressed I can't take your BS so I’m planning a cinema night Oh come what may I’ll do Whatever it takes to see you All this information Choking out the hand that feeds you After all this I’m just waiting for some time to view those Faces that nobody but you knows Life is a mess I can't handle the stress so I'm planning a cinema night Every motion Every breath Makes me feel like I've got nothing left Imagination works For a while Tell me once more exactly what I need to be there Under the provisions of the media nightmare I have regressed and got nothing left so I'm planning a cinema night If your feeling repressed take a weight off your chest and start planning a cinema night Oh oh planning a cinema night Oh oh planning a cinema night Give it a rest I'll never confess that I'm planning a cinema night
