Crisis Town 03:13
Wake up I feel it on my skin I wanted you to act I want you to begin But you just turn your back I see it with my eyes If you want me to attack I’ll pull out the knives Our lives Are your problem Our rights Can’t be stomped on Crisis town Crisis town that’s where we’re living Crisis town Crisis town have you been there? Breathe deep Check if you’re not dead If air fills up my lungs It must fill up your head The noises in your tower Growing louder than the truth I just want to protect myself I just want some proof
2.
There’s a place you know where the pastures glow and the Greenland is so bright Where the lowlifes smile at the watch face dial for the time will soon be right In this town there’s never been a liar Here in Heart's Desire The ocean there reminds me of something I’ve never heard, Waves on the back of an eagle fly a thousand silver birds In this town you’ll never find a fire Here in Heart's Desire I could have gone to Heart's Delight or maybe Heart's Content But they didn’t seem quite right to me so to Hearts’ Desire I went Oh, why don’t you come by today There’s a great place for you to stay I’ve never had a day like this And I’ve never had a moment of bliss before And all of the people who came here in the beginning Were lonely, lonely But not anymore In this town there’s never been a crier Here in Heart's Desire I could have gone to Heart's Delight or maybe Heart's Content But they didn’t seem quite right to me so to Heart's Desire I went

Quiet Girl 02:43
I was introduced to a quiet girl And her quiet boyfriend They interact with mime and whispers I don’t know how they do it I guess they’re perfect for each other But I couldn’t ever ask of them How they do it on a daily basis What if they have children? Unique people are all around me I don’t know how to handle it Mundane things can be most astounding When you’ve never had to deal with it. Somebody told me about their friend He only speaks in questions When he’s asked about why he does it He only replies “Come again?” He grew up as an inquisitive boy Needing to know about different things Sometimes behavior has a way of sticking Could you tell if it’s affected me? I want to meet I want to meet you I know someone who never listens She might be a little self-absorbed But when she opens up and starts singing I know that I will never be bored Some people have a special talent At the expense of something else Sometimes I try to figure out what mine is But I couldn’t really help myself

The Struggle 04:53
Half asleep shifting Gone with a mistress Do you ever wonder how the half of us could miss this Mystic vicious sleeping with the fishes Take a number maybe i will add you to my wishlist Callback trashy Wait to attack me Colour it blue and yellow to make it look contrasting Fasting lasting longer than that thing Which if I’ve been told correctly could be something nasty Don't let me take any chances Don't let me wait too long Don't let me break your advances Make me believe our struggle is gone As hours pass by looking like the last guy Wondering if I’m protected becoming a pastime Last night flashlight pounding on the hash sign Undercover or detected I’ll be on the hot line. Grafted drafted take the time to craft it Marshall a new directive before it gets protracted Haptic tactic turning on it’s axis I don’t know what to call it but don’t call it romantic I can hear your sighs, at the things you see Everybody lies, nothing’s wrong with me Holding back the line when the crisis is tight I’ll take turns ‘til we get it right And I find whether furrow or fright That the knife comes out alright No one needs to tell me ‘bout which contact to cut I’ll break rank if you bring it up Storied glances help me push it aside But it could take me all night Wide-eyed 9:10 morning in the AM Cords and cables wrapped around me grapple ‘til the day’s end Mashup smashup spewing what the glass cut You tell me that you’ve got a secret I could keep it safe but... It’s time for you to ask for a glass that's half full To trade for the one you left in the cold Or wait for the sun to melt what froze But you can't cus the glass broke When the ice grows nice flows spill through cracks When the heat turns up you can’t put it back But you know that it is what you chose It’s my life that you don’t know Let it boil on the sidewalk when the heat turns up Bubbling bubbling when the heat turns up On the ground

Like You 05:09
You sitting there At the bar unaware Of the world that surrounds This here place, this here town I could not ask anybody Else but you for the impression Of a person wasting precious time Don’t bother asking me questions Because I don’t have the answers You thought that I knew my way around? Long ago I wanted to be like you Long ago I wanted to be like you Long ago I wanted to be like you But that was so long ago what am I gonna do You came to say You’re in for a lot And I should repay All of this time I’m thinking of ways To make you align As you drag me round the city I cannot help but reflect on What this would have meant to me in those days Context effortlessly shifting Every day there are some changes But we don’t notice anything for a while I just keep remembering Those days back before rethinking My approach to the life you were living I wish I could fondly say Things were better back in those days But looking back I can recognise the issue Long ago I wanted to be like you Long ago I wanted to be like you Long ago I wanted to be like you But that was so long ago what am I gonna do Now what am i gonna do?
